recent SJ news

I finally made it to SJ. I really should be studying for my Biology test so I will try to make this quick.

1) my current favorite SJ member (actually ties with Heechul) ------- LEE HYUKJAE ------- got swine flu. Lol, everyone's all better and now he's getting it. very Hyukjae like. I hope Junsu called him or visited him in the hospital :) And I think I read somewhere that Heechul will be filling in got Hyukjae at KTR, Strong Heart, Starking, and etc. So Hyukjae was still on Feb 25 KTR. From the clips I've seen, Leeteuk hosted Feb 26 KTR by himself, but Sungmin was there as a guest I believe. KRT is a 2-hour, daily radio show that Leeteuk and Hyukjae have been hosting together for 4 years. They are also permanent guests/hosts on Strong Heart and Starking. I want to see Heechul oppa fill in.

2) side note, lol. SARANGHAEYO KIM HEECHUL!
Heechul, who is in TRAX's MV, also played piano for the TRAX on the Feb 26 episode of KBS Music Bank!! Heechul oppa is my prince........ uhm princess. BUT he really needs to cut his hair!! I understand that he is filming a drama right now so he can cut it however he want, but i really don't like his current haircut. Also since Hangeng is "missing," I have a feeling that JChul is on the rise again.

3) SJ's comeback in MAY. Fans are very very very excited! Here's a fanvid to prepare everyone for the comeback :)

now on to more serious news.
4) SJ's concerts in Shanghai on March 6th and 7th. Shanghai must be a really good place. Looks like SJ and DBSK are having their last concerts in that over populated city!
I'm sure SJ's problems do not need to be repeated. Hangeng wants to leave SM, Kibum only wants to act, Kangin got in trouble so SM is restricting his activities, sub-grouping hints, etc. Anyways, the most recent news, an interview the sponsors and planners of the Shanghai concerts said that the concerts will take place as planned. Hangeng, Kibum, and Kangin will of course not be there. At the concert as well as possibly forever (meaning in 4th album), Henry and Zhou Mi of SJM will replace Kangin and Kibum in SJ (and probably Hangeng, but we don't know how the law suit will end yet). And in the future, SJ will be divided into smaller sub-groups and remain active that way, but Kangin, Kibum, and Hangeng will not be included.

5) not SJ related, but similar type of stuff. 2PM Jaebeom officially announced that he is not returning to 2PM. but the reason is not because of the MySpace controversy. Apparently, Jaebeom did something wrong during Again and Again promotion. no one (public) knows what the mistake is; words like private and social were used by JYP representative. JYP also claimed that 2pm members as well as JYP officials sat down together earlier this year and decided that Jaebeom cannot stay with 2PM any more. Netizens are again opening this big mouth. Some say that it's because of illegal drug use or impregnating a girl. Also, after the official announcement, 2pm members closed their minihomepages. 2pm fans, of course, won't let this go and are arguing with JYP. I'm not a 2pm fan so I don't know about much about Jaebeom or the entire controversy.

recent DBSK news

Instead of guessing what will happen next, here are some current DBSK news. I will do SJ next in a separate post :)

1) Which celebrity do you want the most to become your lover/BF/etc?
According to TBS's CDTV, a Japanese music show, the answer is DBSK Hero Jaejoong. CDTV Music Show recently conducted a survey (not sure how) and the most number of Japanese people picked Jaejoong. Kim Jaejoong becomes the first non-Japanese artist in the 16-year history of the show/survey to win first. In 2008, Jaejoong first became a candidate. After two years, he is #1!! This shows DBSK's popularity in Japan (which makes me even more certain that AVEX would want to keep DBSK).

Also, Micky Yoochun received #3, beating popular Kat-tun members; Max Changmin got #6; Xiah Junsu got #7. Too bad Yunho didn't make it into the top 10 :(.

2) AVEX will be having their "stock holder party" (something like that) soon, rumors had it that DBSK will be there.

3) DBSK will be recording a new single. The new single is for the advertisement of Japanese cosmetic brand MENARD. and it will be released in March. The article on this on AF was really confusing. According to AF, the original source of this news is from DBSK's official Japanese website (which should be trust worthy). But the wording (probably due to translation) is hard to understand. The article talks about the inclusion of Ceasing the Time, which is a new DBSK song in the Best Selection 2010 album, and Checkmate, which is Yunho's solo piece for the 3rd Asia Tour Mirotic, in the new single........ uhm, neither song is new. Anyways, I'm confused. If anyone knows anything about this, please please please update/correct me.

4) last but not least. YAY for Cassiopeia!!!! Cassiopeia, the official fanclub of DBSK, had an event yesterday. Basically fans suddenly appeared in a organized fashion at busy street corners around the nation and did a little dance in honor of DBSK.
Take a good look at the first picture on this post. What do you see? Mirotic, yes I see that too. What else?
MIROTIC, 7 letters, connected DBSK's members, TVXQ as a whole, and Cassiopeia :)

Lee Soo Man and SM part 2

I have a question that I've been dying to know the answer. Are LSM and SM the same thing? Does SM overwork and underpay its artists the same thing as LSM is a terrible person? I don't know the answer. and fans are divided on this issue. Even though many fans (most I believe) think that SM = LSM and LSM = SM. Since SM is hurting their (fans) idols and their idols want to leave SM, then their idols must hate LSM as well. There are also other fans who think that LSM is just one person. Many other people are involved in decision making and the future of idols. LSM should not be the scapegoat.

LSM now and 30 years ago when he was a popular singer

The answer to the questions I proposed at the begin is especially important now because LSM is leaving SM. I personally do not think LSM is a bad person and LSM = SM. I'm sure he cares about the company he created single-handedly as well as the stars he trained. After all, he was in their shoes more than 30 years ago. I think he is probably very strict teacher/boss and ask 300% from everyone, but that is what is necessary to be top stars. SJ, DBSK, HOT, etc. they are all grateful to LSM. From what I can sense (which honestly is not very much at all), sincerely grateful.

You got to admit that LSM is one of the top in the business. He is a musician; he is a business. For example, he was personally involved in the making of DBSK's first Oricon #1, Purple Line. For example, he was able to convince AVEX to support all SM artists' Japanese activities. No other Korean, no other none Japanese, artists has been as successful in the Japnese market, second biggest music market in the world, as DBSK. From HOT to DBSK to SNSD, SM has produced the most number of top stars in the business.

Now, LSM and AVEX are leaving SM at the same time. SM stated that LSM will no longer take part in SM's operational decision, he will remain as a teacher/trainer of new stars and participate in furthering SM artists' foreign activities. The company also stated that AVEX selling all SM stocks does not mean that SM-AVEX cooperation is ending. I honestly can't believe the second part about AVEX. but the first part, LSM is going back to what he does best.

CEO of AVEX

Anyways, I'm not sure what I'm trying to say any more. lol. I guess I'm just trying to give as much background and my opinion as possible. THE ONLY CONCERN I have is actually how all this will effect SM artists, especially DBSK.
For the people who believe that LSM = SM and Junsu/Jaejoong/Yoochun left SM because they are not happy with their contracts and LSM, LSM leaving SM is a good thing. Some of the tension is gone, therefore DBSK has a better chance of continuing activities in Korea. For people like me who think that LSM is just the scapegoat, LSM leaving is not such a great thing. It decreases the chance of DBSK staying as 5.
What about AVEX? DBSK's contract with AVEX is ending soon (I believe in June of this year). Unless DBSK renew their contract with AVEX, their Japanese activity is over. I believe Junsu, Jaejoong, Yoochun, and AVEX probably want to continue their work. But since AVEX is no longer a stock holder of SM, Yunho and Changmin, who are still with SM, will probably have a harder time renewing with AVEX. Also, if DBSK do not renew their contract with AVEX, then I can say with 99% confidence that DBSK's end has come.

After updating my blog for the past few days, I have 2 questions/concerns. 1) Should I use DBSK/SJ/SNSD/etc. as singular proper nouns or plural? well, maybe it depends on how I use it lol. 2) am I just wasting my time and breath? I don't care if people read this or not, but 10 years from now when I look back will I think "OMG I was so naive wasting time on boy bands!"? whatever, I'm worrying too much again lol.

SM is getting a new boss?

SJ's Sorry Sorry won #1 at GaOn chart award........... along with SNSD's Gee. Congrats to both groups! DBSK also won Japan's Golden Disc award today. Their DVD All About DBSK Season 3 won first..... not sure which category.
My only problem is that only 4 out of the 13 SJ members went to the award ceremony (Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Shindong). So what are the rest doing? I'm sure I don't have to talk about Hangeng, Kangin, and Kibum again lol. Heechul and Siwon are still busy with their dramas. The other 4....... they don't get much attention anyways. But I love Yesung and Kyuhyun so much. Especially Kyuhyun, he is very FH :). Ryeowook and Sungin are very cute as well.

The big news today is about Lee Soo Man, CEO of SM. HE "RETIRED/RESIGNED." Some history: LSM created SM in 1995; he is the CEO and biggest stock holder (>25%); AVEX, the Japanese company that DBSK is working with, is the second biggest stock holder (<20%).>

So..... will the future of SM change? Stock holder's power cannot be over looked. Therefore, I'm sure LSM still has much power over SM's future. After all, he is the founder. He devoted his entire career/life to SM so it's fair. I personally think he is a very successful businessman. And despite of the negative characterizations of LSM in fanfics and etc, I believe he is a nice and intelligent person. I'm not sure why either, just a feeling. I think it's not LSM, it's the entire Kpop circle that is a bit...... screwed-up.

Here's the stock chart for SM. Reminds of the old days when I was in QF!!! Elliott wave theory anyone?

Who is the new CEO? no info on that yet. Does it really matter? I don't really think so. I'm sure LSM is still the one in charge.
Another surprise for me is.......... AVEX is out! I'm not sure how did the AVEX-SM relationship started, but ending the relationship now will change the fate of DBSK for sure. Honestly, I don't know what to think.
so just mentioning random sparks in my head.....
What does LSM's leave have to do with all the law suits? or did the law suits forced him to retire?

Of course, the fanfic interpretation............ especially relating to Jaegeng. LSM is known as a Jaegeng anti. Cuz Yunho can talk about how he broke up with his girlfriend because of Heechul, Junsu can talk about Hyukjae and their elementary/middle/high school experiences, even Kibum said that Chamgmin is his only friend who is about his age (Kibum likes to hangout with older people), but Jaejoong is not allowed to talk about Hangeng. Example: The Star Show. Yunho menioned Kangin and Heechul, Junsu talked about Hyukjae as expected, Changmin laughed at Kibum's height (Yoochun talked about Fly to the Sky, another SM group), but Jaejoong's part was cut out. He did not get to talk or his part was edited out. Hangeng and Jaejoong lived in the same room together for more than a year. They are definitely good friends (probably not best best friends). but their interactions are rarely caught on camera. Fanvids of rehearsals of SMT concerts and concerts and maybe background of SMT MV's are the only place you can see Jaegeng together. Even though I don't think Jaejoong and Hangeng decided to leave SM together, but I'm sure the fact that Jaejoong/Junsu/Yoochun's leave gave Hangeng more courage. and I'm sure Hangeng probably asked them for advice about legal issues and etc.
So does Jaejoong/Hangeng/LSM all leaving SM around the same time have any significance? I will leave that to the talented and created fanfic writers out there.

random........

Today is a good day; today is my best friend's (since the third grade) 20th birthday!!!!
Today is also a good day because SJ held their first solo concert in Taiwan. Of course, only 10 out of the 13 members showed up. Hangeng's appearance was reduced to the 3 seconds in the intro video. I guess he really is leaving SM. Updates on his lawsuit were also posted yesterday, but because I don't understand any legal procedures and terms, it meant very little to me. I personally feel like he has a very good chance of winning and leaving SM. Jaejoong/Junsu/Yoochun's case set a very good example. If Hangeng did not get the same legal protection, then he really should sue for discrimination next lol.

Speaking of management, my favorite Korean actor, LEE JUN KI, signed with JG Company Inc. JG is a new establishment, and it will solely be managing Junki's activities. One-man-management system, Lee Junki is the only artist under JG. What are the advantages/disadvantages of this one-man system compared to other management companies like SM?
Advantages: 1) company focuses on YOU, the artist! 2) company will be nicer and more negotiable because it does not want to lose you because you are their only source of income. 3) since the company manage every part of your life (activities, endorsements, legal issues, etc.), less conflicts of schedule and etc.
Disadvantages: the main one is that the company has limited power and influence. Take SM for example, MBC/SBS/Mnet/other TV stations want to be buddies with SM because SM has many artists. To keep SM happy, they must let F(x) and other less popular/new artists on their shows so popular ones like DBSK, SJ, etc. will come too. You probably don't want to sign with a one-man system if you are a new artist.

Relating to the US, Epik High was on CNN's Talk Asia. I haven't seen the show, and I'm not really into Epik High. so yeah my comments are 1) reminds me of the days when F4, Taiwanese boy band that goes by the name JVKV now, and Wang Lee Hom, the most perfect man on earth, were on CNN. F4 is the most popular Taiwanese boy band since the Little Tigers (1989-1996) and before Fahrenheit (2006-now). They were in the first drama version of BOF/Hana Yori Dango, the most important Asian manga and drama for the past 15 years. and of course, they are my first favorite boy band. Wang Lee Hom, ABC (American Born Chinese) singer, is perfect. Born in NY state in 1976, second of three sons, can play violin/piano/erhu/drums/and ~10 other instruments, got a perfect SAT score and got into Yale, received formal music training at Eastman School of Music/Williams College(undergraduate)/Berklee(graduate), established his own genre of music (Chinked-out, blend of Chinese and Western music), and last but not least very very good looking :). 2) KPOP IS INVADING THE US MARKET!! slowly but surely....

Ok I'm writing this in English class...... so it's every random. what else did I want to comment on?
DBSK broke ORICON record again...... 413,000 copies of their first BEST album. not surprised at all :)
Shanghai World Expo. China has a huge influence on Korea's economy. so Yunho, F(x), SJM, and other Kpop artists will be in the Expo commercial/advertisement and concert in May. SJM....... I don't think Hangeng will be in it, but...... we will see.

please support my videos :)

nothing much happened to DBSJ today. a lot of old news got dug up again.

i'm just here to show off my new vids. lol. i didn't make them, just subbed them in English.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivZ8Kn5vioI

Xiao Zhu, the MC in pink, is my fav TW singer/actor/MC/comedian ever! He is very talented to kind hearted. Yeah, I subbed the show mainly because I love Xiao Zhu, not because I love SHINee. But either way, they are awesome.

Oh, there are actually 2 tiny tiny things.
first, some japanese magazine did a special on DBSK in Japan. it summarized their activities, awards, etc. very well. I might subbed it later if I feel like it.
Also, pictures I posted yesterday, the two of Hangeng at the airport, he was flying to a ski resort. 2 days later, he flew back to Beijing...... but he missed his flight...... in the end, he got home safely. lol.

DBSK and BSB

What does DBSK have to do with BSB?

Honestly, I don’t know. I guess except for the fact that they are both famous boy bands…..

A few days, I saw an article about BSB and DBSK. Sometime in 2007, BSB met with DBSK at Music Fair 21, a Japanese show. Honestly, this is old news. But I wasn’t a fan of DBSK back then (2007) so this is the first time I’ve heard about it. At an interview after the show, BSB praised DBSK’s singing ability and said that DBSK reminded them of their former selves. When I first saw the article, I thought it’s something recent, so I was surprised that BSB, or DBSK, is actually active. A lot of old news are being dug back up because there has been very little news about DBSK. Anyways it’s still kinda cool that top boy bands get to meet like that.

What’s new?

The most recent DBSK news is actually from the United States!!!!

On Feb. 18th, Elvis Duran & the Morning Zoo, some radio show in NY, played DBSK’s Break Out (DBSK’s newest single). In “Top Songs from Around the World” segment of the show, Elvis Duran introcued DBSK’s Break Out as the most popular song in Japan. He also expressed that he wants DBSK to come to the US (following the Wonder Girls). Break Out ranked first on the Oricon chart as expected; it is the 7th DBSK single in a roll that made first on the Oricon chart.

I want DBSK to come to the US as well. But I know that even without the split, the chances are very small. Anyways, if I pick one Kpop group to represent the pride of Korea popular music, then I would definitely pick DBSK!!!

The last piece of news for Feb 20th is an interview with one of SM’s voice teachers. Not sure if it’s actually recent news.He has taught more than 200 SM trainees. All of them had been physically punished for not practicing enough. For example, he would hit them with a ski stick untio the stick breaks. He also said that his best students are DBSK’s Junsu and Jaejoong and SNSD’s Taeyeon. In Asia, physically punishing students is a fairly common thing, at least 10 years back. Now not as much. My piano even hit my hands when I didn’t practice enough or used the wrong figuring when I was little. I don’t think it’s a particularly bad thing. Excuse my analogy, but it’s kind of like training animals. Of course, hitting a student until the ski stick breaks is a little much. But I guess that’s what made Jaejoong’s and Junsu’s great voices!

Hangeng is Back!! What about SJ?

The return of Hangeng.
Super Junior's Hangeng disappeared for almost two months. He did appear again in public after the news that he is breaking his contract with SM came out (last December of 2009). Except for updating his blog once on his birthday to thank all the fans who left birthday wishes, no one has seen or heard from Hangeng. FINALLY..... on Feb. 19th, 2010, Hangeng was spotted at an airport in China. I will briefly summarize the personal account written by one of the fans who saw him on the 19th. Apparently, a few fans knew about his flight schedule a few days before the 19th. but they did not spread the news because they know that Hangeng probably does not want to be disturbed. Therefore, only 7 or 8 fans went. He had gotten paler and fatter (he was tooo skinny, therefore it's a good thing). The fans did not talk to Hangeng or disturb him in anyways. They took pictures and clips from pretty far away. The videos and pictures can be found online. I attached 2 pics. If anyone want the vids, send me a message and I will send it to you.

Along with Hangeng's reappearance, news about SJ's 4th album came out earlier today. Even though there's not official statements, but SJ's leader Leeteuk recently confirmed (on a show) that SJ's 4th album will be out soon. Soon is??? MAY!!!! Super Junior's official 4th album will be out May 2010.
My question is......... how many members participated in the making of the album. Kibum did not participate in any 3rd album activities because he was filming a movie (which will come out soon). But I doubt that this is a temporary excuse. Kibum wants to act more than sing/dance. therefore it is possible that he will not participate in any SJ activities from now on. Kangin should return in the 4th album right? after his assault case and hit-and-run case, Kangin has been absent from all public activities for a few months now. These two members' situations are fairly predictable.

But Hangeng is an entire different story. Following after Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun of DBSK, Hangeng sued SM (for the same reason as the other three). Hangeng was not seen at the Super Show 2 concert in Beijing. And because of him, SJM did not appear at the Hunan TV's new year event. I watched a fancam version of SJM's Super Girl and Blue Tomorrow at SS2 in Beijing. The middle spot was left empty for Hangeng.

Will SJ and DBSK suffer the same fate as H.O.T.? or will they be able to break the 5-yr curse of boy bands? (well, technically, DBSK = 6+ years already.)
For SJ, even if Hangeng leaves, it will still go on. Henry and Zhou Mi (SJM members) were on Starking together with the rest of SJ for the new year special. This is a hint that SM still wants to add Henry and Zhou Mi into SJ, like they planned from the beginning (due to oppositions by fans, it has not happened yet).

I've never really openly expressed my opinion on this whole issue because I don't have a conclusion yet. I will try to organize my thoughts today. I think I feel differently about SJ and DBSK.
DBSK is the most successful ASIAN boy band ever! Their popularity in Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, etc. are unbeatable. SJ was not able to surpass DBSK. Recently, Ellen Degeneres Show asked people to recommend Asian singers (so the show can have a segment on them). DBSK received the most votes. SJ, SNSD, BB, Wonder Girls, Arashi, Rain/Bi etc. were all on the list. DBSK also has the biggest fan club in the world according to Guinness. Starting from the beginning, DBSK was more unified than SJ. DBSK sing and dance better (in my opinion). Therefore, I really want DBSK to stay as ONE. I'm not angry at Jaejoong/Junsu/Yoochun because I understand that SM is unfair, but I do not want DBSK to break apart no matter what. DBSK really is the BEST!
SJ..... was created as a flexible group that would switch members. But again due to fans' objections, SM aborted that idea. But subgroups emerged none the less. Subgroups are for the benefit of the fans as well as the promotion of SJ, but it also planted THE SEED in SJ and in fans. Little strokes fell great oaks. I am actually now cool with the fact that SJ will be a 'flexible' group. At least if SJ break apart, I will not be as sad as DBSK breaking apart.

Everyone focuses on the past faults of SM and artists. but I want to focus on the future. Will they be able to become better after leaving SM?
Jaejoong/Junu/Yoochun left together and there's definitely greater power in that. more than half of DBSK is outside of SM. Therefore, if SM does not want to lose DBSK, SM must let them have their way (well, some of their way). Separating into 2:3, neither side will be as great as when the 5 are together for sure. DBSK really is the BEST asian boy band ever. I want them to stay together and hold on to their glory. If they break now, everything's gone.
Hangeng case..... honestly, even though Hangeng is super super super popular it China, if he leaves SJ, then he will only be able to be popular in mainland China. and I personally do not think he will last all that long. I know that Hangeng is leaving SM, or even SJ, for health reasons, but....... really depends on what's more important to him. If he is alright with being a normal, healthy man, then by all means, LEAVE. but if he still wants the fame and glory....... then leaving SM is not a good choice for him at all. I do not think he will be able to stay as famous as long. He doesn't have the skills Jaejoong/Junsu/Yoochun have.

Anyways, good luck to them all.
I will sit quietly infront of my computer and wait for the end :)

SHINee and F.T. Island

Ok guys, I'm slowly but unavoidably expanding my Kpop boy band obsession. Just wider, but not deeper. I don't like any of the new ones nearly as much as I love DBSJ.
I want to talk about 2 new bands that have came to my attention. Honestly, they are not that new. SHINee, another SM product, debuted in 2008. F.T. Island debuted one year before SHINee.

F.T. Island is a band that actually plays instruments, which is apparently very rare in Kpop. But sadly only the lead vocal, Lee Hongki who does not play any instrument, is well known. Music wise, F.T. Island is really talented. I like a lot of their song. Love Sick, One Word (On Air OST), Lie, etc. Even though they are talented, I have to say that Lee Hongki would not have made it as big if it weren't for SJ's Kim Heechul. Contrary to Hongki, Heechul is very successful on entertainment shows but not a great singer. On shows, he often says that Hongki is one of his best friends and tells stories about Hoogki thus raising Hongki's popularity. I would not have known Lee Hongki if it weren't for the fact that he went on a show with Heechul. Lee Hongki was born in 1990 (same year as me), 7 years after Heechul! In Korea, it's hard for people who have such a big age gap to be friends. But I don't know what Lee Hongki did, but he's very lucky to be friends with Heechul in my opinion. After knowing him (seeing him on shows), I think Hongki is a very sincere and caring person........ very very different from Heechul. Hoogki is very innocent and not as selfish as Heechul. Anyways, they are both great.

We are SHINY SHINee!!!
I "disliked" SHINee for a long time because....... 3 out of the 5 of them are younger than I am!!!! LOL, I know it's a stupid reason, but it was the only reason stopping me from liking them. I'm still not completely over this. SHINee is known as the next DBSK. but honestly...... at least singing and dancing.... DBSK is better. The only song I really love by SHINee is Ring Ding Dong, which came out October of last year. I guess Amigo and Noona You are so Pretty are not terrible. Taemin is supper cute and he is my fav because he is Hanchul's love child (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCmKL3Ri88c&feature=PlayList&p=34AB67C087C04EC1&index=4). The fact that Taemin is my fav really does not make any sense. I don't like SHINee because they are younger than I am but Taemin is the youngest so shouldn't I dislike him the most? Jonghyun is a great singer. Minho is very very handsome. Key just looks cool. and Onew, the leader, is sweet. Onew is not tough enough to be the leader.

I'm gonna stop here cuz I'm really tired.
I didn't mean to write this much. I simply wanted to share a few SHINee vids.
The first one is 090626 Music Bank (SJ, DBSK, SHINee, and SNSD performed; kinda like a huge SM party). An accident happened at the end of the show and Onew FAINTED!!!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cvVsbyypyk
The second vid I want to recommend........ is SHINee on 100% Entertainment, my fav Taiwanese show. 100% is hosted by Show Luo (his nicknames are Xiao Zhu and Director). Show is my fav TW singer, mc, and actor. He really can do everything!!! he debuted as a singer in 1994 when he was only 14 (younger than all the SHINee boys lol). and I just found out that from 2003 - 2007, he signed a contract with AVEX. AVEX is the Japanese company that DBSK and TRAX signed with. Two of my fav idols together! Here's the vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivZ8Kn5vioI. because I love it so much, I'm working on subbing it. Part 1 of 5 is done :)

SJ is now officially a 12-member group?

This is probably the most shocking news i've heard in a long time.

SJ are spokesmen of the brand spao. 2 new styles came out recently. On the shirt/hoodie, there are only 12 members printed!!!!!!!
According to one source, an worker at the store asked the manager who delivered the new arrivals why there are only 12 people on the shirt/hoodie. and the manager replied "Hangeng left SJ. so he was not printed."
No matter the reason, THERE ARE ONLY 12 FIGURES!!!!
I was really surprised when I saw this. I mean even though Kibum did not take part in SJ's Sorry Sorry activities...... he's still part of SJ. but now Hangeng.......... I have to admit, there are some comfort in not officially leaving the group. I'm actually a bit scared. I mean I'm cool with Hangeng leaving SM, but not cool with him leaving SJ!!!!!!!

I'm back :)

Because of AVo's suggestion, I will be updating my blog on SJ/DBSK/Kpop news. I probably should have started doing this a lot earlier so I don't have to send Avo, Huda, and etc. 10 emails and change my fb/gmail status 20 times in one day :)

I will only post news/vids/pics of things that I like and include my own interpretation. therefore, definitely not a reliable source of kpop news. Also I'm into some BL, but my fav CPs are not exactly conventional. and I sub vids on youtube, I will link them on my blog too.

First and most important news on Feb. 18th, 2010 is.....

Today is DBSK Max Changmin's 22 year old Bday!! 생일 축하합니다!!
Changmin oppa should be filming a drama..... right now.
Best of luck to DBSK!
The 5 of them will be performing together in Japan again in March. but there are also news that say that Yunho will be in LA in March to train for "This is it" concert. "This is it" is a series of concerts put on in memory of MJ. Many famous musicians from around the world are involved. Yunho is representing Korea.
It is a great honor to be part of the MJ memorial concert, but......... I really want to see DBSK TOGETHER!!!
